Join the Louisville Astronomical Society at the Parklands of Floyds Fork the Turkey Run location from 1-3 PM to view the Sun, our private star, safely though solar telescopes.

LAS members will be using specially-equipped telescopes with solar filters that allow you to view the sun and sunspots safely. NEVER look at the sun through binoculars or a telescope on your own. Look through ours.

Directions: To get to Turkey Run, take the Gene Snyder West to the Billtown Road exit.
Turn left on Billtown Road, right on Seatonville Road and then left on Broad Run Road.
Follow the signs to Turkey Run then turn left on Stout Road into the park.
The Silo Center will be on your right at the top of the hill.
